The Gulf and Bay Club Bayside is a private gated community with a small village atmosphere. It is located on Siesta Key, which is an eight- mile long barrier island located on the Gulf side of Florida. Siesta Key is connected to Sarasota by two bridges. It is located approximately 60 miles south of the Tampa Airport or 25 minutes from the Sarasota Airport. Our condo is within walking distance via the beach to the charming artist village of Siesta Key. Located in the village are many small shops and quaint restaurants.
Our private stretch of groomed beach, on the Gulf side, is a short walk from your doorstep and you'll marvel at the breathtaking sunsets. The beach at Siesta Key was voted "the World's Finest and Whitest" beach by the Travel Channel, and as "America's Best Beach" for 2011 by 'Dr. Beach'. It's made up of 99% pure quartz so it stays cool to the touch. The beaches are refreshingly natural, and bursting with lush foliage. Siesta Beach is consistently rated as a"Certified Healthy Beach".
You'll see manatee and dolphins playing in the Bay while strolling along the condo's walking path. You'll also want to explore Turtle Beach at the south end of the island where you'll find a delightful area of sea shells.
The accommodations include a King Size bed in the master bedroom suite, and two full size beds in the second. You'll have your own private screened lanai, and a separate garage.
Other amenities include three Cable TVs, a Stereo and DVD player, in-unit Washer/Dryer, picnic areas with BBQ Grills, and a community exercise/workout room. The complex also features a clubhouse, 2 heated pools, ponds and fountains, and lighted tennis courts.
